DownRiver is an integral part of our summer days and this ice cream place make me think of the warm sun, sweet flavors, long hours spent at Cranes Beach, and good people. I hold this spot near to my heart as we used to go and get quarts and quarts of Custard Cream ice cream for my Biggie (grandfather), which he ate every single day. The ice cream is creamy and delicious and this spot is a necessity in the summer amidst the hot weather and craving for sweet ice cream. It is an amazing place to visit in New England, and should definitely be on your North Shore bucket list.
